On Monday, 22nd January, we hosted the second Werner Siemens colloquium together with the Microbiome Sciences group of Christina Warinner from the MPI-EVA. Under the theme “Genomic Evolution of Microbial Functions: past to present” four distinguished researchers were presenting their findings:
- Dr. Denise Kühnert from the Robert Koch Institute and the MPI of Geoanthropology, DE
- Prof. Dr. Elke Dittmann from the University of Potsdam, DE
- Dr. Thomas Booth from the Technical University of Denmark, DK
- Prof. Dr. Marnix Medema from the Wageningen University, NL
As with the previous event of this kind, the colloquium took place as a public lecture and open post-lecture coffee break.
