Anan from our lab has jointly organised a workshop with Dr. Carl-Eric Wegner from the Küsel lab and Dr. Zander Human, both from the Friedrich Schiller University, about genome-resolved metagenomics. The event was part of the Collaborative Research Centre ChemBioSys, which aims to explore fundamental regulatory processes in complex biosystems. The target of this workshop was to bring in the researchers of the cluster to collect a comprehensive background in genome-resolved metagenomics and downstream applications.
