In 2023, Martin attended several conferences with the financial support of the Joachim Herz Stiftung (JHS) add-on fellowship to convey our findings and new paleobiotechological framework to the research community:
- In January, he gave a talk at the conference ‘Advances in Chemical Biology’ in Frankfurt a. M.
- In June, Martin presented at the ‘Metaomics summerschool’ at ETH Zurich.

- Next, in October, Martin went to Napoli with a presentation at the ‘IUPAC International Symposium on the Chemistry of Natural Products’.
