Laurenz is from a small village near Würzburg. He studies biochemistry and molecular biology at the Friedrich Schiller University aiming for a bachelor’s degree. His goal is to support the paleobiotechnology team and to learn more about the molecular biological and analytical methods of natural product chemistry. He started within PBT in 2024 as a student research assistant and is now working on his bachelor’s thesis project.
In his free time, Laurenz enjoys painting and drawing, and you can often find him outdoors.
