Sebastian is originally from Herzberg (Elster), Brandenburg. After completing his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a master’s degree in Chemical Biology, both at the Friedrich-Schiller-University, he joined Pierre’s group as a PhD student. In particular he is interested in natural products that influence developmental switches in small eukaryotes.
