On Friday, 19th June, we hosted the third colloquium of the Werner Siemens Foundation (WSS) together with the Microbiome Sciences group of Christina Warinner from the MPI-EVA. Under the theme “Paleobiotechnology: Science in its social context” three distinguished researchers were presenting their research:
- Dr. Lisa Haushofer from the University of Amsterdam, NL
- Prof. Dr. Tom Gilbert from the Center of Evolutionary Hologenomics at the University of Copenhagen, DK
- Dr. Lisa Onaga from the Max Planck Institute of History of Science, DE, and Max-Planck-NTU Singapore
As with the previous event of this format, the colloquium took place as a public lecture and open post-lecture coffee break followed by a tour through the labs of the HKI and a large panel discussion.
